WIMBLEDON IN
SPORTING HISTORY (WiSH)

FROM TENNIS TO FOOTBALL AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN…

As proud Wimbledon locals we are very excited and grateful to be a supplier to WiSH for design, print and installation work.

WiSH is an independent registered charity (1195829) and registered musuem ( I-112603) that was created to inspire its visitors through sporting history and is run by 24 inducted volunteers.

The Common Ground film has demonstrated that Wimbledon Common provided a unique sporting landscape for a number of global sports. It also instigated the greatest story in the world’s most popular sport – football.

WiSH has accessed over £1 million in sporting memorabilia, some of which is showcased at their exhibition in Plough Lane. Moreover, a digital museum will also be launched in 2022.

“Safeguard, curate, celebrate and showcase Wimbledon’s sporting heritage and cultural stories, plus those of other local sports and their cultural influence.”

As of 2026 we are still working closely with WiSH and have managed to open some amazing statues and graphics alongside them. We also redesigned, produced, installed and reopened their museum after flood damage at Plough Lane which in turn helped them to win SME News Best Sporting History Organisation 2025.
